Our 5 favorite looks from the BET Awards

Some of our favorite stunners were showing up and showing out last night (Hey, MJB!) at The 2017 BET Awards with gorgeous finger waves, 50 shades of bobs (lol) and protective styles to die for. Here’s a few of our favorite looks!

Letoya Luckett was looking absolutely radiant at the BET Awards after keeping a pretty low profile for the past couple years. She’s been promoting her upcoming album “Back To Life,” and her look definitely reflects her new attitude!

Ray Christopher (@hair4kicks) and Kim Kimble (@kimblehaircare) teamed up to created Letoya’s gorgeous honey blonde and chocolate finger waves, which matched perfectly with her thigh-high, floor-length floral dress.

On IG this morning, Christopher said he’ll release the BTS look of how he created Letoya’s look, but he revealed that he used BioSilk and Chi Haircare products to create the molded, yet soft, look.

Keyshia Ka’oir was looking absolutely lovely in a wavy, tousled bob and purple smokey eye done by Arrogant Tae(@arrogant_tae) and Arianna Garcia (@makeupari_).

Tae says he used White Label Hair to create Keyshia’s wig, and from there he custom cut and styled it to fit her look for the night, and all of the makeup came from Keyshia’s brand, Kaoir Cosmetics.

You can recreate Keyshia’s wavy bob by using a barrel curling iron to create loose waves and curls, and then using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to separate and lightly tousle them.

Quite a few stunners decided to rock a blunt blonde bob last night, but I’ve gotta say Cardi B rocked the look the best. The blunt bob paired with red monochromatic look courtesy of Givenchy perfectly fit Cardi’s personality, and I’m sure it’s a look that we’ll remember “forevaaaa.”

Cardi was mum about who created her look, but here are a few tips on how to effortlessly rock a blunt bob using your natural hair or a wig.

Last night was quite the night for Remy Ma, who took home the “The Best Female Hip-Hop Artist” award while slaying in a modern take on a 1920s flapper dress by Karen Sabag.

It’s clear by now that the “bob” was the favorite hairstyle of the night, and Remy Ma rocked hers with perfectly crafted and touseled curls that matched her classic look for the night.

Her curly bob and gray smokey eye are easy to recreate at home with a curling iron or curl formers, and simply pick up Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky palette to get the eye look.

One of our short hair faves, Eva Marcille, opted for ankle length box braids that complimented her boho chic aesthetic to the tee.

Erinn Courtney (@e_scizorhands) created Eva’s braids eight weeks ago — yes, eight weeks — and they still look stunning! She used a mix of platinum blonde, honey brown and brown hair, and individually wrapped some of the braids with colored yarn and trendy hair cuffs and rings.

As always, Eva’s cousin @terellmullin created her flawless beat. He used Kiss NY Pro products for everything from the foundation to the shadow, so head to your nearest beauty supply or Wal-Mart to recreate Eva’s neutral look.

Of course, we can’t forget some of the eye candy of the night! Here’s a slideshow of our favorite The Cut Life men!
