I cut my hair when I was 15 years old.
What are your go-to hair essentials for maintaining your cut & style?
Co-Wash, Leave-In Conditioner, Pomade, Doo-rag or silk scarf, brush and shine spray!
What are your beauty and makeup must have products?
The list is super long! For my hair, [my must-haves] is definitely Design Essentials and Eden Works products. Both products are excellent with moisture retention and are not harsh! For my skin, I use a great exfoliating cleanser, eye cream, powder, concealer, eyeliner, bronzer and LIP PLUMPING GLOSS! I like my lips to Pop!
What is your current occupation and what are your career goals and aspirations?
I am currently a licensed hairstylist and salon owner in Atlanta, Ga. My goals and aspirations are continuing to serve others through my own personal experiences. I do have a blog page and site, WifeMotherHustler, which is geared towards uplifting and supporting career singles, wives and mothers. This is definitely a path that I’m looking to take on more permanently in the future.
What is a hobby or interest that people would be surprised to know you have?
Is recording every episode and watching Judge Judy a hobby?
What quote or piece of advice do you live by?
“The biggest problem that people have is thinking that they do have problems but really don’t.” — My Dad
What would you say to a woman who is thinking about cutting her hair for the first time?
It’s nothing to say! She knows and her mind is made up! The woman who wakes up and wants to cut her hair has been going back and forth with the idea forever! She’s google pictures, stalks “The Cut Life” but wakes up one day and says “It’s getting done today!” Allow her to make that decision on her own, that’s not my lane.
