Top Tips for the Short Hair Bride
Engagement season was in full swing over the holidays, and now the wedding planning season has begun. Of course, the bride is the center of attention and her style from head to toe must be top notch. Iconic short hair brides from Princess Diana to Jada Pinkett Smith have caught our eye over the years.
We had the chance to chat with celebrity hairstylist, makeup artist and owner of A Bridal Piece online accessories boutique, Keka Heron, about her Top Tips for the Short Hair Bride.
1.) Your hair trial/consultation is extremely important to your wedding day look. Schedule your consult 3-4 months prior in case you want to try new styles.
2.) Try to avoid drastic cuts on your wedding day. If you are doing a regular trim or shape up, I recommend doing it a week or two before your wedding day.
3.) My favorite styles for the short hair bride are a pixie cut with soft curls, loose wave bob, and vintage waves.
4.) My top bridal hair accessories for short styles are Birdcage veils, headbands, and flower fascinators. These pieces add splendor to any look.
5.) Makeup; play up your eyes. A great brow and richer eye shadow choice will enhance the eyes. Don’t forget some lashes. They are a little heavier than your natural lashes and will create a stunning look for your pictures. Add a soft nude lip and dewy peachy cheeks to create a perfect finished look.
6.) Shop www.abridalpiece.com for an array of beautiful and romantic hair accessories for your special day.
